Airbourne’s fourth album, Breakin' Outta Hell, dropped on September 23, 2016, under Spinefarm Records, marking their first release with the label. Recorded with producer Bob Marlette and mixed by Mike Fraser, the 11-track album was crafted across studios in Los Angeles and Chicago, using analog tape and the band’s live Marshall amps for authenticity. It peaked at No. 3 in Germany, with the title track leading as a single. The album’s relentless pace and gritty riffs, paired with Joel O’Keeffe’s versatile guitar choices (including Gibson ES and Gretsch White Falcon), deliver a pure rock experience, reflecting the band’s explosive live performances.
